Websites built for trades who want the phone to ring
Your customers search on a phone, often urgently, and they choose from the first two or three results that look local and trustworthy. Everything we build for trades is aimed at being in that shortlist and making the call take one tap.
- Tap-to-call everywhere
- WhatsApp enquiries
- Map pack focus
How trade customers actually behave
They search a service and a place, glance at the map results, scan reviews, open one or two sites and call whoever answers first. The whole decision takes under two minutes and happens on a phone, often outdoors. A site designed for a desktop visitor with time to read loses it.
What we build
- A page for each service you want more of — not one list on a services page
- Service-area content for the towns you genuinely cover
- Phone number in the header and a sticky call button on mobile
- WhatsApp enquiries, which many customers prefer for sending photos of the problem
- A short quote form: name, number, postcode, what's wrong — nothing else
- Real photos of your work, which do more for trust than any stock image
- Fast pages that load on a weak mobile signal
Google Business Profile is the main event
For most trades the map pack produces more calls than the website's own rankings. We optimise the profile properly — correct primary category, every service listed, service areas set, photos added regularly — and put a routine in place for asking satisfied customers for reviews and replying to every one.
Not missing the enquiry
You are on a job when the call comes. We set up instant acknowledgement for form and WhatsApp enquiries, so the customer knows they have been heard and stops ringing the next number on the list while you finish what you are doing.

Common questions
- I get work from word of mouth. Why do I need a website?
- Because referrals check you online before they call. A referral who finds nothing, or finds a site that looks abandoned, quietly rings someone else. The website's first job is confirming you are real and competent.
- What actually gets me calls?
- A page for each service you want more of, real photos of your work, your area stated plainly, and a phone number that is tappable on every screen. That combination outperforms a slicker site with none of it.
- Should I show prices?
- Showing a realistic range or a call-out fee filters out people who were never going to book and saves you time. It does not have to be a fixed quote.
- Do I need to be on Google Maps?
- For most trades it is the single biggest source of calls. A verified, fully completed profile with genuine reviews matters more than almost anything else you can do online.
